BIOGRAPHY
I'm an English photographer based in Stockholm, working across commercial and personal projects.
My fascination with photography started as a child. I clearly remember trying to photograph seagulls in flight with an old Kodak Instamatic. That curiosity has stayed with me.
With a background in fashion photography and a recent degree in Philosophy and Art History, my commercial work now focuses on still life, portraiture and design. My personal work is often more conceptual, drawing on an interest in ideas, people, places and the everyday
Concept is important to me, and often provides the starting point for my work. Inspiration can come from unexpected places. I often find myself distracted and fascinated by the mundane - ripped posters in the street, shadows on the pavement. It's the imperfections, the obscure and the abstract that catch my attention and feed my creativity.
